Take the challenge to go from friendship to discipleship.
Making disciples takes courage, a plan of action, and accountability from a mentor. The Timothy Challenge does this by putting a student and a mentor together for a month.
Dedicate Five, 20-30 minute meetings together for a month to
- Set weekly discipleship goals
- Report on how God moved the previous week
- Pray together
Each week is different and will focus on four intentional ways to help your lost friends want to learn from Jesus:
Week 1: Become a true friend.
Week 2: Help your friends trust you.
Week 3: Help your friends become curious about Jesus.
Week 4: Help your friends become open to making changes for the better.
Throughout the challenge, your goal is to help your nonbelieving friends seek after Jesus and become connected to greater discipleship in the church. Most importantly, stay prayerful that your friends look to Jesus to be saved!
